United Rentals Offers Major Savings on Quality Used Equipment at Blue Thursday Event – Nov. 29

United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) announced its third annual Blue Thursday event, a used equipment sale taking place on Thursday, Nov. 29, at more than 100 company locations in the United States and Canada. United Rentals has made over 16,000 products available for sale to meet a wide range of construction, industrial and municipal needs.

The Blue Thursday equipment inventory was originally sourced from top-tier manufacturers and can be reviewed at https://used.unitedrentals.com/. Items for sale range from hand tools to large equipment, such as aerial lifts and earthmoving machines.

The company has included specialty equipment for temporary power and HVAC applications, fluid transfer and filtration, and trench safety solutions. All equipment has received regular maintenance from United Rentals, performed to strict OEM standards.

“The end of the calendar year is a great time for companies to leverage tax savings by making equipment purchases,” said Paul McDonnell, executive vice president of sales and specialty operations, United Rentals. “We have many buyers who come back every year to take advantage of these special savings on well-maintained, quality equipment. Any after-sale needs are backed by our extensive service network.”

United Rentals offers the United Guard extended warranty program, providing bumper-to-bumper coverage for components not designed to be replaced during the life of the product, such as motors, transmissions and more. The company also offers a Customer Equipment Servicing program that provides equipment owners with professional inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs by expert United Rentals technicians at customer sites or company branches.

Buyers can choose to finance their purchases with the United Rentals financing program, which covers all equipment-related costs, including warranty and freight.
