Atlas Copco’s new small range of WEDA pumps provides fast and efficient dewatering. In addition to the original nine pumps, the WEDA04 and WEDA08 provide drainage pumping, with the WEDA08S for sludge pumping. The WEDA04 drainage pump is equipped with a 400-watt electric motor, while the WEDA08 features a 750-watt electric motor. The polyurethane semi-vortex impeller reduces the risk of clogging, making it ideal for construction sites or industrial pits. Both models were designed with built-in motor protection, high torque capacitor and a three-terminal automatic cutoff to prevent motor overload and dry burning. The PAH16A60-C-B-C18 is a heavy-duty, priming-assisted pump ideal for mining, quarries, bypass pumping and other installations where high flow rates are a necessity. This pump boasts flows up to 15,000 gpm, total dynamic heads up to 204 ft and a solids handling capability of up to 4 in. The 18-in. by 16-in. pump is driven by a 755-hp, Tier 4-Interim Caterpillar C18 twin turbocharged, charge air cooled diesel engine power unit. It is also furnished with an auto-start control panel and float switch assembly. All Prime Aire Plus pumps feature Gorman-Rupp’s priming system, which uses a venturi and compressor, eliminating the leaks associated with traditional vacuum-assisted pumps.
