Rising from one of the world’s most remote places — the Hawaiian Islands — a new NUCA Chapter has emerged following weeks of recent groundwork by utility contractors based there. Though still in its formative year, NUCA of Hawaii has already made its mark as one of the state’s strongest, most active and highly regarded groups.
In February, John Deere’s Construction and Forestry Division marked the completion of two manufacturing facilities in Indaiatuba-SP, Brazil. John Deere will manufacture its industry-leading backhoe loaders and wheel loaders in one location and excavators, in partnership with Hitachi Construction Machinery, in the other.
Donation of Brutus HDPTO Utility Vehicles Saves CAN/AM Hockey More Than $10,000Polaris Industries Inc. and its Newport, N.Y., dealer Moody’s Polaris donated four Brutus HDPTO commercial utility vehicles for the 10th-annual Lake Placid, N.Y., CAN/AM Adult Pond Hockey Tournament held Jan. 24-26. The donation saved the organization more than $10,000 in rental costs.
